Recipe:

1. Preheat the oven or prepare for frying:
   • For Baking: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
   • For Frying: Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
2. Cut out the tortilla rounds:
   • Use a small cookie cutter (around 2 inches in diameter) to cut out bite-sized rounds from the tortillas. Each tortilla should yield 6-8 rounds.
3. Bake or fry the chips:
   • For Baking:
     • Brush the tortilla rounds lightly with vegetable oil on both sides or spray them evenly with cooking spray.
     • Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
     • Sprinkle with salt and bake for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
   • For Frying:
     • Fry the tortilla rounds in batches, flipping occasionally, for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
     • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Immediately sprinkle with salt.
4. Add flavor (optional):
   • For extra zest, sprinkle the chips with lime juice or your favorite seasonings while they’re still warm.
5. Cool and serve:
   • Let the chips cool completely to achieve maximum crispiness. Serve with salsa, guacamole, queso, or your favorite dip!
